Afternoon - 9th of July 2006

My sister gave birth to a beautiful baby girl. Such a cute little girl! She came on Friday, but I didn't want to post the happy news until they decided on her name. I just heard that the final decision was made. Her name is Romaissa. I am glad they picked that name. It's nice, I do think. I was there the whole day on Friday. Visited her yesterday too and I am gonna go today as well. We got the baby lots of presents. My mom bought a lot and I did too. It's just fun! Well, that's pretty much all there is to say about it for now. Take care, my friends!

Afternoon - 10th of July 2006

I bought my niece music flowers. The tune they play is from an old song, but it's famous. Most importantly it's a beautiful and fitting song. My sister liked it too, so now it will be the song we sing to her. Much fun! I will sing it to her for sure! The song is called "You are my sunshine". And I chose the version of Anne Murray, cause hers is altered from the original and more fitting for a baby.

Today was fun. I got more presents!! Kim bought me something I really wanted!!
Charmed - The first season
I do adore Charmed. Such a great series! I am gonna get the whole series one day. I swear I will!!
She also bought me a sparkly necklace and a stone bear standing thingy. Very nice.

Well, that was all I had to say. I might have a movie marathon soon. Have some DVD's to watch. Borrowed a few from Kim too.

Well, I guess it's not my birthday anymore. Seeing as it's passed midnight here. But on the 22nd of February it was. I went out with friends, as I wrote before. We hung out a bit first. They got me my gifts. Then we went out to dinner in the American Dream Cafe. I love that place. And the name is good too. hehe
Then we went bowling and I didn't even win once. My arm hurts now too. But I did throw a spare one time! But other than that I didn't do great. I did have fun though! Sara was very good, so were Marija and Arie. Those were the people that were there. I am so glad they were. We had a great time.
Now my gifts:
Jack Johnson - Curious George (bought by Sara, I just had to have that album)
James Blunt - Back to Bedlam (bought by Arie, he wasn't even there when we got it)
I got money from my parents. And my mom got me a card too. The mother of Sara and Arie got me a card too. Marija had a card too, but she forgot to give me it. So she will next time we see each other. She is also gonna get me a belated birthday gift (no money now, we are poor students not to forget). It will be:
Racoon - Another Day (a Dutch group that is quite new, but the songs I heard were cool)

Friday I will go to Kim and she bought me birthday gifts too. Curious as to what they are. Guess I will see then. I will write about that day later. See ya!

So now my birthday is only a few days away. The weekend thing didn't happen, but I don't mind that. It's better this way. And the details for the actual day are almost all worked out. All that's left now is, knowing which people are gonna come for sure!
But I will know that tomorrow night, I hope and think.

The day will sorta look like this:
3.00 pm - Meeting with Sara for a more private talk with her.
5.00 pm - The others are gonna come at that time. We will talk for a bit, go eat somewhere and then buy my presents, I hope! hehe
8.00 pm - We are gonna go bowling for an hour. Should be lots of fun!
9.00 pm - The party ends. Yes, it's short. But we all want to be home at a reasonable hour.

That's also what I am gonna mail the others on Sunday evening when I know who is gonna come.

Well, in exactly 3 weeks it will be my 21th birthday. Why am I posting this? Cause someone said she is checking my journal sites for nothing. So here is an entry!
I don't know what exactly I will do on that day. Probably invite my friends and play pool. Or go to the movies. Maybe go out to dinner as well. Will see.
And the weekend before it, I might stay over at a friend's place. A sort of birthday weekend. We'll go bowling and stuff. Will surely be fun.

Now I also would like to rant about Bleach. See, Lunar hasn't brought out their translations of the episodes yet. But Dattebayo has already aired 4 episodes. I waited 6 weeks to finally see Bleach again, and now I am done waiting. I am going to Dattebayo from now on! They are trustworthy anyway, cause I watch Naruto by them too. So too bad for Lunar. I can finally go watch Bleach again. So I will!

School, what to say about that. Well, have exams and lots of other essay stuff to do for next week. Should get started on it. But let's not go into that any further. Don't like school as subject to talk about.
